What is vertimowing?
Vertimowing is the process of removing excessive thatch that collects near the surface of a lawn. Thatch can prevent up to 75% of water ever reaching the root system.
When is a good time to get it done?
The best time to get vertimowing done is from October to December on warm season grasses and September to October on cool season grasses. Scarifying can be done every 2-4 years depending on how much thatch has built up.
